Andrew Sullivan is Managing Partner and a Wealth Advisor, bringing more than three decades of experience in financial services. With over 35 years in the industry, he began his career in 1989 and spent nearly 20 years as a financial advisor and Senior Vice President at SunTrust Investment Services before co-founding Sullivan & Schlieman Wealth Management, LLC in 2008.
Andrew works closely with clients to develop long-term financial strategies tailored to their individual circumstances and objectives. His approach emphasizes thoughtful planning and the development of long-standing client relationships.
Andrew has been recognized for his leadership and expertise in the industry, earning Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor honors from 2023 through 2025, including being ranked #2 in the state. Sullivan & Schlieman Wealth Management was also named to the Forbes America’s Top RIA Firms in 2024 and 2025. In addition, Andrew has been included on Barron’s 2026 Top 1,500 Financial Advisors and was named to the Barron’s 2025 Top 1,200 Financial Advisors.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in International Business from Georgia State University. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation through Oglethorpe University.
Andrew has been actively involved in numerous community and nonprofit organizations. His service has included roles with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, Auburn University, The Schenck School, Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia, and Wesleyan School. During his time with The Schenck School, he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and was later named to its Emeritus Board. In 2011, he was nominated for the Turknett Leadership Character Award in recognition of his community involvement.
Andrew resides in North Atlanta with his wife, Donna, and their dogs, Dolly and Oakley. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, bird hunting, and alpine skiing.
