Tonya Russell serves as Director of Operations, where she is responsible for implementing strategic solutions that enhance the client experience, streamline operational workflows, and ensure the firm’s day-to-day operations run seamlessly. She leads the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation while maintaining efficient internal processes. She is a member of the firm’s leadership team and contributes to firm-wide initiatives and key business priorities.
Tonya has been with SSWM since 2009 and has held a variety of roles throughout her tenure, including managing advisors’ calendars, supporting marketing efforts, and serving as a client services associate. Her diverse experience across the organization provides valuable insight that informs her leadership today.
Prior to joining SSWM, Tonya spent 12 years in the banking industry, where she held positions including teller manager, financial services representative, fraud loss prevention specialist, assistant branch manager, and executive assistant to several area managers.
Outside of work, Tonya is the proud mother of two sons, Cole and Dominic. She enjoys cheering them on in sports, traveling, spending time with family, and relaxing by a lake.
